Went to Drum Paradise yesterday to pick my BRADY kit up and got to see all of Vinnies kits, they were prepping his Orange Gretsch for a session starting today for the new Wilson/Phillips cd. Julain Raymond producing.
I was able to look at Vinnies yellow Gretsch snare used with Zappa. Very kewl day, looked at Weckls gear also and some other notable cats whom store their gear there.

Coated Ambassadors on top with clears on the bottom. Vinnie has his own box of drum heads, which I want to say have been hand picked for him but I might be steeping out of bounds. I juts know that DP has a work area filled with REMO and in Vinnies area which is top and bottom of a huge rack, he has at least 3 boxs of drum heads which say in black ink Vinnie drum heads.
Plus a huga amount of sig sticks laying around. The kit they were tuning yesterday I had never seen before, kind of an orange but not bright. Nice color, look sometime next year for the cd. Also the new Faith Hill comes out on the 15th, Vinnie and Toss Panos.

The 10 was a 10x7, and was the only one they were tuning at the time. I did see the 16 floor tom of the signature white kit, it was not in a case. The yellow Gretsch snare was a 5x14. There were others in cases but are marked as to what's in the case, he had a few Yamaha snares.
